Exploring the trade compliance landscape, technology, and talent: Impact on global trade compliance leaders

Watch On-demand
Hosted by Thomson Reuters

From the ever-evolving regulatory trade compliance landscape to the internal demands where global tax compliance teams are being asked to handle more responsibilities with fewer resources, global trade compliance departments are feeling the strain. The new 2022 Global Trade Report found that supply shortages, tariffs, sanctions, and customs compliance that apply across the global marketplace have huge repercussions on global trade compliance teams. Because of this shift, companies are having trouble recruiting and developing enough new talent to fill the skills gaps.

Attend this webinar to hear a summary of the report and perspectives from the panelists on what the shifts mean to trade compliance leaders and why they may even be more important given today’s uncertain and immensely challenging environment. Attendees will be able to:

  • Identify the impact of regulatory agencies, systems changes, tariffs, and sanctions on global trade management operations
  • Recognize the challenges in conducting supply chain sanctions due diligence in Asia
  • Compare their global trade management technology adoption with other organizations
  • See how other organizations are responding to the widening skills gap to find new talent
