Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Kirsty worked in Big 4 tax management consultancy, concentrating on tax automation and compliance solutions across a breadth of taxations.​  She brings over 20 years of experience in tax technology, focusing especially on the needs of global multinational corporations.

Éva Fekete is an experienced finance and tax advisor who is currently working as a Regional Tax Advisor at FedEx Express EMEA Headquarters. She is responsible for designing and implementing the digital reporting process for Europe. In this role, she created and implemented the Digital VAT and SAF-T reporting processes. Eva has worked for a variety of other companies, including Johnson and Johnson/Depuy International, UPS SCS Hungary, and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Éva has a Master's degree in International Business from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, and studied Economics and Banking at the College of Economics. Éva has also participated in various programs on leadership and agile product development (SAFe POPM 6.0).

Since July 2022, she is a Director in Global Strategic Tax & Customs at the LEGO Group, leading the development and strategic transformation of digital product (technology) for Tax and Trade Compliance. She was previously at Maersk, as Global Process Owner for Tax, then Tax Product Owner within the Finance & Tax platform. While at Maersk, she established tax as a key component in the business case, design and implementation of S/4HANA & related technologies. Prior to that, she was a consultant at several Big 4 firms.

Kathya is an international tax attorney and tax technology specialist focused on indirect tax automation, global indirect tax systems and process optimization. She has over 15 years of experience working on various functions, including but not limited to global e-invoicing and digital reporting analysis and requirements gathering, ERPs and tax engine implementations.

Kathya is currently the global e-invoicing and digital reporting lead for KPMG’s global indirect tax services practice, assisting clients with the creation of customized global e-invoicing roadmaps, global matrixes based on client’s tax footprints, e-invoicing vendor/solution selection and strategies to validate and implement solutions to comply with the electronic data required by tax administrations. Kathya also has a lead support role as part of the KPMG One Americas tax technology team, where she provides guidance on the creation of smart tools to assist with the automation of compliance processes and facilitate the mapping of regional tax technology strategies. As a KPMG tax professional, Kathya has worked with Fortune 1000 clients to implement global solutions. Prior to joining KPMG, Kathya was responsible for the development and maintenance of the international tax content for a global tax engine indirect tax software.
