Bobby joined Thomson Reuters in May 2022 with over 17 years of experience in Indirect Tax, having focused his career on Excise and Sales Tax.  He spent 17 years at KPMG prior to joining TR, where he served as the national Excise Tax practice leader, having delivered on excise and sales tax consulting, controversy, compliance and technology, including custom tax compliance and determination engagements.   He is a recognized leader in the marketplace and brings a wealth of excise/sales tax experience and expertise to Thomson Reuters, with a specific focus on the oil and gas industry.

Taylor leads the firm’s Federal Excise Tax efforts.  Before joining KPMG in 2010, Taylor was a Senior Attorney in the IRS Office of Chief Counsel Excise Tax Branch, where she was a principle advisor to the Chief Counsel and Commissioner of Internal Revenue on excise tax issues.
