Gina Jurva, Esq., is Manager of the Corporates and Government enterprise content platform for Thomson Reuters. Gina works on solutions to some of the world’s most pressing fraud issues including anti-money laundering (AML), e-commerce fraud, and healthcare fraud, in addition to risk and regulatory compliance. 

In a previous role at Thomson Reuters, Gina worked as a Senior Legal Writer and Editor. Additionally, she spent a combined 11 years as a deputy district attorney handling both misdemeanor and felony cases and later, her own legal practice defending clients in criminal matters.

Sarah Beth Felix is recognized in the compliance industry for her ability to navigate and operationalize global AML/CTF regulations to impact various institutional environments and risk profiles. She has almost 20 years of experience in anti-financial crimes with operational, audit and consulting roles. As a former AML Officer, she provides actionable, sustainable, and effective solutions through remediation projects, system validations, audits, and operational strategy.

Working with both banks and FinTechs, she employs a unique discovery process that highlights risk exposure previously unknown to the institution. She is considered an expert in distilling FATF, Wolfsberg, EBA, EU, and FinCEN guidance into actionable and effective risk-based programs. Sarah Beth has niche expertise in operationalizing typologies and ML/TF threats within higher risk areas such as cannabis banking, FinTechs, correspondent banking, and trade finance. Jim is the Principal and Founder of RegTech Consulting, a private consultancy aimed at developing the next generation of BSA/AML and financial crimes professionals, technologies, and programs.

Prior to founding RegTech Consulting, Jim worked for over 10 years as the BSA Officer, Global Head of Financial Crimes Risk Management at Wells Fargo & Co where he was responsible for governance and program oversight of Bank Secrecy Act and AML for Wells Fargo’s global operations. He was also a Member of the Wells Fargo Management Committee and Enterprise Risk Management Committee  and represented Wells Fargo with the Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group (BSAAG), US Department of the Treasury.
 
From 2004-2005, James also served as the Global Anti-Money Laundering Operations Executive for Bank of America where he was responsible for the operational aspects of Bank of America’s global anti-money laundering and terrorist financing prevention monitoring, surveillance, investigations and related SAR reporting. James also represented Bank of America with the BSAAG.
