Jennifer holds a Finance degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a JD from Hamline Mitchell School of Law. She has worked at Thomson Reuters for 17 years in various leadership roles in customer training, sales and client management. During this time, Jennifer has also developed thought leadership content and tools for both law firm and legal department leadership, specializing in profitability. Currently, Jennifer is directing a new initiative at Thomson Reuters to develop a thought leadership avenue for corporate legal department executives.

William Josten

Bill Josten is the Legal Marketplace Innovations Strategist for the Thomson Reuters Institute. Bill consults with law firms nationally on issues related to law firm profitability, pricing and cost recovery. In previous roles with Thomson Reuters, Bill worked as a senior legal analyst, in account management with several large law firms, and as a Reference Attorney. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, he was an attorney in private practice, an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and a clerk at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Kevin P. Grady

Chief Legal Officer

Kevin Grady is the Chief Legal officer of Leavitt Group Enterprises, one of the largest privately held insurance brokerages in the nation. Kevin leads the Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Risk Management, and Benefits Administration departments. Prior to joining the Leavitt Group, Kevin served as Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Monat Global, as well as Chief Counsel at Mary Kay Inc., where he led the company’s global team of generalist legal advisors. Kevin began his career at the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he was a member of the White-Collar Criminal Defense and Investigations practice group. Kevin focused his practice on FCPA and anti-corruption investigations around the world, with particular emphasis in Eastern Europe. Kevin received his Juris Doctorate degree from the College of William & Mary, and his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, where he studied linguistics, with emphases in Russian and Arabic. Before college, Kevin lived in Russia for two years, where he served as a church missionary.

Shelly O’Callaghan

Executive Vice President and General Counsel

International Dairy Queen

Shelly O’Callaghan is the executive vice president and general counsel at International Dairy Queen (IDQ) where she leads the legal department and oversees legal, risk, compliance, and corporate governance matters for the company’s global business. She joined IDQ in 2010 as vice president and assistant general counsel and was promoted to her current role in 2012. Previously, Shelly led the global legal team for the multibrand hotel division at Carlson Companies and worked as a franchise litigator at Gray Plant Mooty in Minneapolis. Shelly holds a juris doctorate from the University of Minnesota and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice studies from the University of North Dakota.
